buzz aldrin is my new favourite astronaut.

most people have heard of buzz aldrin. he was the second man to walk on the moon, stepping out after neil armstrong made his famous ``one small step'' quote.

well buzz aldrin just so happens to be my new favourite astronaut. not only did he dogfight MiGs in Korea, he also went to the fricken moon. you know, in the technologically advanced era of 1969.

there's an awful lot of ignorant people spouting out about how the moon landings were all a big hoax. first off, let me say that this is not true. the bad astronomer has quite nicely debunked that nonesense.

but anyway, this fellow named bart sibrel, a moon hoax proponent, proceeded to accuse buzz aldrin of lying and asked him to swear on a bible that buzz had actually walked on the moon. well, buzz refused. bart then accused buzz aldrin of being ``a coward, a liar, and a thief.''

those aren't usually things you call the sort of man that buzz is. so buzz decked him in the jaw.

accordingly, a very talented artist who goes by the monicker of thrdgll decided to make a short cartoon about it entitled ``Buzz Aldrin's Conspiracy Smackdown''.

sibrel had it coming to him. the dick.
